Celebrating Firsts

I was thinking the other day how many first we celebrate in life. First birthday, first steps, first anniversary, first tooth and the list goes on and on. For the past month I have not been celebrating a first although it was the first time to have shingles. Boy are they so not fun!!! When someone tells you they are painful that truly is an understatement. Until you experience them yourself you have no idea how painful they are. The shingles have almost disappeared but the nerve pain is still present and not sure how long it is going to take to go away.
I have not had a lot of creative juices going right now due to the pain and lack of sleep. I did want to remind you that I am designer of the month at NutHouse-Scraps and I have a free kit over there for you if you have not already gotten over there to get it be sure you do!
