Textures Around Us!

Everywhere I look I see textures, the grass, bark on the tree, bricks, stonewalls etc.. You name it and it is there. I have been making my own textures for my designing so I started a new line in the store of textures.

Up Close and Personal

I have been experimenting with my camera the last few days. I keep coming across this little green fellow sitting in my flowers.

I have on idea if this is the same green fellow as he looks different to me but he posed so nice.



I guess I was making him nervous as he turned his back on me in this one.

A Whole New Look

I am so excited I have a whole new look for my blog!!! I have be admiring the blogs with the fancy headers and sidebars that all match. I had figured out how do my own header for my blog but I had no clue how to do the sidebars. So the other day I was going through the forum at DST and came across Shabby Miss Jenn's shabby blogs.
These have all the elements already done for you but I was still not ready to take the plunge because I still had no idea how to get these into my blog.
I found some other cute kits with the same concept the one difference for me which brought me back to buy from Shabby Miss Jenn was she has a tutorial already setup that walks you through the whole process of how to get this into your blog. So I watched the tutorial video and thought I can do this!!
So Saturday I took the plunge and bought the kit. It took me about 2 hours to get everything set up, I had to customize my header and the sidebars to say what I wanted on them. Then began the setup, with the video tutorial you can watch it and then stop it to do what you need to do.

Believe me if I can do it anyone can. So go fancy up your blog as there is nothing standing in your way now.

Just Thinking!

Whew, this summer is flying by I can't believe that we will soon be in August. I am busy planning a Ladies retreat called, "Heart Spa" for September and when I started way back in January it seemed like it was so far away but now it is only a matter of 8 weeks away. So now I'm begining to feel in the panic mode, I have to tell myself it will all come together as I have a great leadership team helping me. I am excited about "Heart Spa" because it is so different from regular retreats. There will be different times when we will have spa times which will include, facials, massage of the hands, and pedicures.
